KG - Improving from Last Year

I think last year we were successful and our group worked very well. But to improve this year, I think although our blogs were successful, this year they need to be better. With more pictures, more stills, more evaluations etc.
I also think that we ought to be better organised, even though we managed to finish everything in time last year, this year there is more we need to do, with the print element as well, and so we need to manage our time better, especially with having to rely on an actress again and not just ourselves.
I think in terms of production our shoots could be a little better, last year we did procrastinate before shooting, but this year because of the limited time I think we need to not be so easily distracted. I also would like us to focus a lot more on the other elements in our film such as the mise-en-scene, lighting and costume, we didn't really give them too much though last year as it seemed more important to get our narrative across but this year I want us to make every little detail of this video perfect. I think this is something I would personally like to improve on, rather than rushing to get it finished, actually stopping and looking to make sure everything is right.
Which is another improvement because last year when we were filmed everything was fine, but as soon as we got into editing we noticed so many mistakes that we were then unable to rectify, so I hope this year we can be more meticulous and observant and not make silly mistakes like leaving our storyboard in the back of the shot.
