Group - Lighting Experiments
Yesterday we went to the performing arts centre at school to experiment with lighting as this is where we are going to film the performance part of of our music video. Our time there was very successful and we found some type of lighting that we think will work well in our video. Lighting techniques we liked include:

I think the tree light looks really effective on film, and also the one of her silhouetted. However, when doing that one we need to think about the background.
ReplyDeleteThe spotlight on her looked good in the studio but didn't really come out very well on film, so we might need to play around with that a little to iluminate her face.
Yes, i agree. I like the silhoette however we need to be careful of the green colour created at the bottom. I also quite like the effect that the coloured lights give on camera.
ReplyDeleteThis is fantastic girls - I too like the tree filter. You might want to speak to Mr Fiveash for some ideas about how to improve the use of spotlight. I agree with Emma - play around with some colour gels.
